ON KIM LIAN

I wrote a rather long piece on Kim over at the old site (which about 2 people probably read!) so i don't intend to make the same mistake twice.
We are all aware that Ewa's first hit or breakthrough came with Mels me vubec Rad/Sam na Sam.
The song Teenage Superstar has been covered many many times by many different artists the world over but it was originally written for Dutch singer/TV presenter/actress Kim Lian. There are sometimes heated arguments over who was the first but i can assure you 100% that it was Kim's version.
Kim has fronted numerous TV programmes in her native Holland and is at present staring in the stage production of Legally Blonde.
She has released 2 studio albums 'Balance' and 'Just Do It'.  Both are pretty easily picked up on sites like eBay. A DVD called 'Balance:The Experience' was also released at the same time as her first album and initial copies of 'Just Do It' also came with a bonus DVD.  A few singles have been released since and rumours persist that she will release another studio album at some point.
Kim sings in English although some of the DVD bonus material is in Dutch.
I totally recommend both albums. Youtube is your friend.  You won't be disappointed.  Trust me.
