I've had a few emails asking me about the MTV Europe awards which were held here in my capital City.
Unfortunately i can't really comment on them as i didn't attend any of the events. For two reasons -
1. Very few tickets were made available to the general public here. Those that were available were changing hands for substantial amounts of money.
2. There was nobody performing that i wanted to see? I'm not a fan of anyone who was here at all.
It was a major boost for Belfast. Hotels etc. were full which was obviously great for our local economy. The event was very well organised which can only be a good thing but there was wasn't much going on personally for me.
